We are trying to keep these plain and simple as we do not want many rules around here. As you will read most of these are common sense:
1. Treat All Members Kindly. This forum is intended to be a very calm, and friendly place. Like most Lightsaber/Star Wars forums we want everyone to feel welcome.
2. No advertising. This is a forum run by Kenobi's Keep. While we understand there are many other manufactures of Lightsabers and we will allow suggestions but specific advertising for other brands is better placed on other forums. Of course there are a few exceptions, sites such as Amazon, Radio Shack, and other general parts suppliers. If members wish to offer their own services please run this by one of the moderators/Admins.
3. This is not a G rated site. With this in mind there will be some allowance of colorful language, however members are expected to conduct themselves as adults and know when language is appropriate, as in real life situations. A good rule of thumb is to post the same way you would talk to a room full of strangers in real life.
4. ALWAYS be polite, respectful, and courteous to forum Moderators/Admin(s). Any disrespect of the staff will not be tolerated. (this does not mean you cannot disagree with us, however keep it respectful.)
5. Do not make "Rage" posts. A rage post is usually one made in anger and its sole purpose is to convey outrage at a perceived injustice.
6. No Religion, No Politics. Nothing will cause more hurt feelings and animosity in some people than a differing opinion in politics and religion.
So please, do not discuss it on this site, do not have anything in your sig about it, and do not elude to it at all.
